About Breanne Hill

Breanne Hill has been the managing editor of Barrel Horse News since December 2007. Born in El Paso, Texas, she began riding at the age of 4, and at 12 years old moved to a ranch in Wolf, Oklahoma, with her parents, Ray and Gale Hill. Breanne is a graduate of the University of Oklahoma, where she earned a degree in journalism and minored in history. She began her writing career with the American Paint Horse Association, where she served as associate editor and, later, editor of the Paint Horse Journal. From there, she took on the role of managing editor of Performance Horse before coming into her current position with BHN. Breanne is a proud Paint Horse, Arabian, Half-Arabian and Quarter Horse owner.
